Eazea digital locks require only 4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Replace all 4pcs batteries every 4 to 6 months to prevent batteries leakage.
It is the consumer’s responsibility to use only specific brands of Alkaline batteries.
Use reliable battery brands to prevent battery leakage which could damage your lock. Digital lock damaged from battery leakage is not covered under warranty.
We recommend customers to use Eazea, Energizer Alkaline (not max or max plus), Panasonic Evolta brand of battery that have been proven to be more reliable as compared to other brands. Do not use Heavy-duty and rechargeable batteries.
Do take note to replace the battery of accessories such as remote control once every 6 months.

For most brands and models of Digital Locks, you will be notified by its alert. If you hear a warning ring or you see the indicator light blinking in red, it only shows the smart lock is running low on battery life.
But we recommend to change the battery every 6 months even though it doesn’t shows the low battery alert. This is to prevent battery leak. Other issues may arise too.
Upon registration, your finger may be positioned a bit slanted. So when you place your finger again, it won’t be detected.
Please try again with different fingerprint positions.
Another reason is due to genetic differences – the lines in the finger are too thin that may be difficult to be detected.
In that case, the person may use a password or other verification ways to unlock the door or gate.
So if you want to install it on a metal surface, it may have an additional cost.
